Zen and Karate
I have just added a new page called “Zen”.
I have done this because last night one of my students in the Buntingford Karate Club was not performing up to his usual high standard. When I asked him what was wrong he explained to me the problem. I told him to leave the dojo, dump his mental baggage, and then come back in again.
He did this and his karate had instantly improved. I hope that he did not pick his baggage up on the way back out.
When you train, try and be in the Now. You cannot influence anything in your life when you are training other than your physical and mental well-being – this is being in the Now.
