Kata Brush Up & Training

We regularly do Kata training in our classes but rarely do we dedicate the whole lesson to it, I guess because some may see it as a tedious task and want to mix things up a little.

Kata is absolutely necessary and is the foundation to karate so it’s actually quite refreshing to spend some more time and focus on brushing up on katas particularly the ones I have done but couldn’t really do without being guided through.

So today I spent some time brushing up on Tai Kyo Kyu and Heian Shodan.
